Looks like SimpleGPT is being sneaky and working on a new layout/look for the site.

It looks sleek, and it’s definitely very appealing. So much so that you should sign up right now and try some offers.

No official announcement yet, but I noticed that most of the site wouldn’t work, then a few minutes later half of it was new, and it just kept progressing.

For that matter it’s still being worked on — they actually got sneaky with it and changed it back to the old layout for now. They made sure to remove any references to the changes from their chat box. Who got a screenshot and brought the update to you? Yep, Free $krilla did.

I’ll try to post again after it’s finished and there’s an official announcement.

I guess I’m behind on the updates. This is why you should watch the news updates for sites and read your messages >.>

I just saw this, just in time to cash out my earnings:

“2011-09-21
Unfortunately we are shutting down the RebelBucks.com website effective Oct 15th 2011. All points and cash redemption will be honored until Oct 15th 2011 11pm PST. After that time, any remaining points or cash balances will be forfeited.

Thank you for your patronage.”

Time to cash out and stop pushing your referral links. RebelBucks is closing down for real real.

However, if you’re looking for a site to replace RebelBucks, check out their main site: PrizeRebel

Same owner(s), and it’s been around a lot longer. Doesn’t look like it will be closing down any time soon.

There are other great sites online as well. Check them out in the sidebar on the right under “Free Stuff” in the blogroll, or just visit the homepage of freeskrilla.com to see some other posts.

When I think of “International” in regards to GPT sites, the first two sites that come to mind are:

CashCrate

CashCrate pays via Check, and also has prizes such as Amazon gift cards, and more.

PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel pays via Amazon gift card, PayPal, and more.

Not every site allows for international signups, and there may be less offers than there are for US signups, but there are definitely ways to make money on international sites. Once you’ve completed all of the offers available to you, referring other members is a great way to earn money. Both of these sites have a great referral system as well as great payout options. They’ve both been around for a long time and have good/known reputations online. Go ahead and check them out! Click the links/banners above to see for yourself.

I’ve had multiple people contact me to ask if PrizeRebel is legal. I suppose this is because you have the ability to earn free things, and many people don’t understand how sites like this work.

Note how above I mentioned that you “earn” free things. There is work and effort involved. The process is legitimate and legal:

You are filling out surveys and showing interest in “offers” on the site.

Each offer will have different requirements. You would only be submitting the offers that interest you.

The advertiser pays PrizeRebel for your activity, and they pay you a portion of what they earned.

On PrizeRebel you’re earning cash as well as points. Points have a conversion rate of: 1 point = $1.

You exchange your points for prizes. Items from Amazon, eBay, and other sites can be purchased for you, and there are multiple gift card options available.

To sum it up, PrizeRebel is legal and legitimate. With a little effort you can earn some great prizes.

Just a few examples: XBOX Live, iTunes gift cards, Amazon gift cards, Game consoles (Wii, PS3, XBOX 360), and more.

For the record:

“Users must be atleast 18 years old OR 13 years or older with parental permission.” (from the PrizeRebel TOS)
“Users must reside in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia.” (from the PrizeRebel TOS)
