CashPirate sent out a message to all of the site members recently letting us know that the trial called Video Professor now pays $30! I’ve done the trial before and it’s pretty cool. So what are you waiting for? Go earn some cash! Just remember, like always, make sure you read the fine print on the offer.

On top of it, don’t forget that CashPirate offers INSTANT PayPal payments, as well as DAILY eBay and Amazon gift card payments. That’s a win, even if you’re not a fan of trial offers.

Quoted from the CashPirate Messaging System:

"The hot trial offer "Video Professor" has gone up! It was paying $19, now it’s paying an enormous $30. The cost to user on this offer is only $6.99!"

First, if you haven’t seen my other posts about CashPirate, check them out!

- Last of May – Site Recommendation

I’ve been spending some time there lately, and the owner is always adding more ways to earn money and just plain enjoy the site. They’ve recently added a chat box to the site, as well as eBay gift certificates as a form of payment. Gift certificates for eBay currently only come in quantities of $10 and are paid daily.

So you can get paid three ways: PayPal (instantly!), Amazon gift cards (daily), eBay gift certificates (daily). How cool is that?

What are you waiting for? Get over there and start bringing in some money. I’ll tell you now: it’s really easy to get spoiled by the instant PayPal payments!

Go see some payment proof for yourself!

There are several different types of sites on the internet for getting free things, but I’d like to talk about GPT sites.

GPT (Get Paid To) sites are filled with "offers" for you to complete that consist of surveys, trials, email newsletters to sign up for, and more. Many free offers and usually some paid offers (as well as cell phone and credit card offers) will be available for those interested. So how does this get you free stuff?

GPT sites get paid a certain amount of money for every offer that you complete, and then they pay you a portion of that in points, cash, or both depending on how their site is set up. Some sites will pay you the day you request a prize, others will pay you anywhere from a day to two months after you request a prize. It depends on how the owner of the site wants to pay out.

There are some scam sites out there, so you have to be careful and investigate the site(s) you’re looking at. You really should be careful with anything online. Be sure to read my post When Joining New Sites for some help on investigating sites before joining. Remember, not all of these sites are scams; some sites are just really crappy.

Make sure to keep watching the blog here for more updates on sites that aren’t crappy! I try sites myself before talking about them, and I do my best not to steer you wrong.

What is SwagBucks? Is it a scam? Do they pay?

SwagBucks is a search site (results are by Google and Ask) where you win swagbucks (points/currency) that you can use to buy great items, such as books, amazon cards, shirts, autographed items, and so much more.

I’ve been using SwagBucks since around December of last year and since then I’ve received several Amazon gift cards, and the t-shirt you see in the picture.

Amazon cards and t-shirts don’t impress you? How about being able to search with bands, sports teams, tv channels such as Fox59 (Simpsons, Family Guy, and more), and so many more search sites through SwagBucks so that you can get specific prizes to those bands (etc)? There’s some pretty great stuff. Here’s a link to a post that I wrote a while back called SwagBucks Info that explains the multiple search sites and how it all works together.

The picture of me in a SwagBucks shirt not doing for you for proof? Check out Geek Dad’s Guide to Free Stuff, where you can see proof of one of the Amazon cards I’ve received. You may even find some other great sites that interest you while you’re there!

Is there any secret to winning? The best advice I can give you is to use SwagBucks just like you would a regular search engine. In my case, my regular search engine would be Google, so instead of searching Google directly I use SwagBucks. SwagBucks gives results by Google and Ask, so you still get the information you need!

Here are some other great ways to earn swagbucks:

- Refer your friends (You’ll get 100% of what they win, up to 100 swagbucks)
- Shop through SwagBucks (Shop through them and get 1 swagbuck per $5)
- Trade in your old cell phone! Amounts vary.
- Trade in your old video games and systems! Amounts vary.

SwagBucks is a legitimate search and win site (not a scam) and if you’re not a member, you’re missing out. Why? Think about this: How many times a day do you search the internet? And you’re getting paid nothing for it! So why not get some great stuff for doing what you already do?
